Chapter 3: [Nick Walked back inside the house and sat down in the living room with joe] NICK: Where did Kevin go? JOE: Downstairs with his new friend NICK: Don?t you like her? I mean she was one of the things you kept bringing up all night, that and your hair JOE: haha. Well yea I do like her but she hasn?t said a word to me at all today if you didn?t notice NICK: I’m sure she said SOMETHING like ? Hi JOE: You?re so funny. NICK: well go join them JOE: Nawh I- Wait, where did Hailey go? NICK: She? left JOE: Why NICK: because I asked her out JOE: too soon NICK: Well it wasn?t supposed to be a ?date? it was just supposed to be ? for fun JOE: And did you tell her that NICK: She left before I could say anything JOE: Tough. NICK: I?ll say. KEVIN: you are GOOD at air hockey KELLY: haha, I?m experienced KEVIN: yeah KELLY: OH I win AGAIN- What?s that three times now? KEVIN: now, let?s not over excite ourselves. KELLY: hahaha KEVIN: Want to go for a walk or something? KELLY: sure [They walked upstairs and Kelly turned the corner and ran straight into Joe] JOE: Oh, im so sorry KELLY: it?s no big deal JOE: Here let me help you up. [Joe helped her up] KELLY: haha, wow, I really am clumsy JOE: Its alright KELLY: I’m over here? JOE: what? Yeah I know im just looking at the ? oven? KELLY: okay sure? lets go Kevin [Kevin and Kelly walked out the door and Nick walked up behind him] NICK: The oven? Thats always a compliment JOE: Do me a favour NICK: Sure JOE: Shut up. NICK: Fine. [Nick walked upstairs to his room and Joe went out and sat on the front lawn in the summer heat and he eventually fell asleep] KELLY: I’m really having a great time Kevin KEVIN: yeah me too. KELLY: Can I ask you a question? KEVIN: You just did KELLY: oh, Because that?s not old KEVIN: haha, go ahead KELLY: okay well, actually nevermind KEVIN: What? KELLY: Yeah, nevermind- lets head back KEVIN: No, tell me KELLY: No! [Kelly started running down the sidewalk to Kevin?s house] KEVIN: I don?t think you can run faster than me KELLY: It would help if you COULD run KEVIN: I?ll race you KELLY: I’m already winning! I’m like a million miles away! KEVIN: Or like 20 sidewalk blocks [Kevin started running too and was soon at her side and they ran back to Kevin?s house]
